How did we approach this project?
Project structure
For the F126 project, I created a detailed structure for establishing the project planning. I apply Earned Value Management (EVM) to this planning, which provides insights into progress in relation to planned costs and timelines. This allows us to respond proactively to potential delays or budget overruns.
Coordination and reporting
The successful coordination of this project is ensured through regular meetings of us with project teams and stakeholders. This allows us to quickly identify and resolve bottlenecks. Our monthly reports to management provide detailed insights into progress, costs, and risks, enabling timely strategic decisions based on current data.
More than just the F126 project
In addition to the F126 project, we are also working on other defense-related projects within Thales. Our contribution to the Dutch defense sector focuses on applying robust project management techniques such as EVM and risk management. This ensures that these critical projects are completed on time and within budget, which is essential for national security.
